Outlier Release ‘Through the Trees’ Cover Ahead of Halloween
Outlier have released their version of “Through the Trees,” bringing the song associated with the cult horror film Jennifer’s Body into their catalog just ahead of Halloween.
The single arrived October 23 through Oxide Records and is accompanied by an official music video. Fans can stream the track now and watch the video through the band’s YouTube channel.
In the release announcement, Joey Arena described the cover as a longtime ambition inspired by his affection for the film and its music. His goal was to retain the song’s appeal while expanding its sound with heavier, more cinematic production.
The release arrives while Outlier are touring with Dark Divine and Fire From the Gods. It gives fans another track to explore as the band continues its run of live dates.
For listeners who know the song through Jennifer’s Body, the cover offers a new take timed for Halloween week. Watch the official video and find streaming links below.
