Dayseeker Announce ‘Creature in the Black Night Redux’ With The Midnight Remixes
Dayseeker are expanding Creature in the Black Night with a new edition that brings their heavy, atmospheric sound into The Midnight’s electronic world. Creature in the Black Night Redux arrives February 26, 2027, through Spinefarm.
The announcement comes with a new version of “Shapeshift” featuring The Midnight. It introduces the remix collaboration ahead of a 20-track collection that combines the original album with alternate recordings and a My Chemical Romance cover.
The expanded release includes six tracks remixed by The Midnight, alongside Dayseeker’s take on “The Ghost of You.” The remix selections include “Shapeshift,” “Crawl Back to My Coffin,” “Bloodlust,” “The Living Dead,” the title track and “The Ghost of You.” Gabi Rose appears on the “Bloodlust” remix, while Sace6 joins “The Living Dead.”
Two stripped-back live recordings from SiriusXM Octane round out the additions: “Shapeshift” and “Crawl Back to My Coffin.” For listeners who already own the original album, those performances and the remix material provide the main reason to revisit this chapter of the band.
Redux will be available digitally, on double CD and in two double-vinyl color editions. Preorders and the new “Shapeshift” lyric video are available through the band and label’s official channels.
