Thrown Into Exile Recruit Michael Amott for New Single “Remorse”
Thrown Into Exile have released “Remorse,” a new single featuring a guest guitar solo from Arch Enemy’s Michael Amott. The Los Angeles metal band’s latest BLKIIBLK release is available on streaming services alongside an official music video.
The collaboration connects the band’s new music to its current road work: Thrown Into Exile are touring North America with Arch Enemy and The Black Dahlia Murder. Amott’s appearance brings one of melodic death metal’s most recognizable guitarists into their recorded music.
The band describes “Remorse” as a song about investing everything in something and still finding yourself back where you began, carrying the weight of past mistakes. Vocalist Joshua Santos fronts the current lineup.
Jeremy Krull produced, mixed, engineered and mastered the recording. The video was directed by Mario Rubio and Robyn Racicot, filmed by Fernando Cordero and edited by Ryan Conlon, according to its official credits.
“Remorse” is the band’s second release through BLKIIBLK. More activity is planned for 2027, but this announcement does not set an album title or release date. For now, the single gives listeners a direct introduction to the band’s current chapter while its North American tour continues.
