Convictions Release “Atonement” With UNFD Ahead of Destin Tour Stop
Convictions have released “Atonement,” opening a new chapter with UNFD as the Ohio metalcore band prepares to head out with Born of Osiris and Miss May I.
An announcement distributed by Atom Splitter PR welcomes Convictions to the label and identifies “Atonement” as their first release under the UNFD umbrella. The song’s official music video is now public on the band’s YouTube channel, with Jake Erwin credited as director and editor.
In the announcement, the band describes the track as a reckoning with sacrifice, difficult decisions and the cost of pursuing music while holding onto faith. Its central idea is accepting the consequences of that journey and continuing with a clear sense of purpose.
Convictions come from Fremont, Ohio, and describe their approach as “Aggressive Worship.” Their current lineup comprises vocalist Michael Felker, drummer Zach Schwochow, guitarist and vocalist Quinton Dreier, and guitarist Patrick Shekut. The new single gives listeners a fresh entry point into that combination of metalcore and faith-centered writing.
For Gulf Coast listeners, there is a nearby chance to catch the band later this month: Convictions will play Club LA in Destin on Tuesday, November 24, alongside Born of Osiris, Miss May I and Downswing. The venue lists doors at 6 p.m. and the show at 6:30 p.m., with admission for ages 16 and up.
The label announcement and new video arrive ahead of that fall tour run. Fans can hear “Atonement” now and find current ticket information through the venue’s official event listing.
