Burn Eternal Announce February Debut and Release “Wounds I've Made”
Burn Eternal have put a date on the reunion of Howard Jones and Adam Dutkiewicz. Their self-titled debut arrives February 26, 2027 through Metal Blade Records, and the first single, “Wounds I've Made,” is available now with an official lyric video.
The announcement gives the project a concrete release plan following its October signing news. Jones and Dutkiewicz built their creative partnership in Killswitch Engage; Burn Eternal gives the singer and guitarist-producer a separate outlet together.
In the announcement, Jones describes the song as a reckoning with past mistakes and regrets while trying to change and move forward. Dutkiewicz says it was among the first songs he wrote for the project, dating back six years.
The nine-track album opens with “Wounds I've Made,” followed by “No Escape,” “Blackheart,” “To Bear the Cross,” “Scared of Shadows,” “Bitter Pill,” “Learning to Let Go,” “Born Again” and “Fell Silent.” Travis Smith created the album artwork.
For listeners who have followed the collaboration from its early studio updates, this is the first full look at what the pair have been building. Album preorders and the new song are available through the official release hub.
