Ten Ton Mojo Channel Blue-Collar Grit on ‘Broken Down Blues’
New York hard-rock band Ten Ton Mojo will release its new single and music video, “Broken Down Blues,” on October 16. The song was produced by Max Norman, whose credits include landmark work with Ozzy Osbourne and Megadeth.
Built on a thick blues-rock riff and a forceful, barroom-ready chorus, the track focuses on the frustration and resilience of the overlooked blue-collar worker. It is a natural fit for the band’s self-described “new classic rock” approach: vintage swagger delivered with modern weight.
Ten Ton Mojo formed from the clubs, stages and studios of New York City and has shared bills with artists including The Supersuckers, Molly Hatchet, Enuff Z’Nuff, Saving Abel, John 5 and members of the Scott Weiland band.
The current lineup features Dave Anthony on lead vocals, Scott Lano and Christian Realmuto on guitars, Jeff Hardee on drums and percussion, and Kenny Madden on bass.
“Broken Down Blues” gives active-rock and modern classic-rock listeners a muscular, riff-first introduction to the band. Its October 16 release will be accompanied by an official video and worldwide streaming availability.
