Marilyn Manson Announces Remastered ‘Antichrist Superstar’ 30th Anniversary Edition
Marilyn Manson has marked the 30th anniversary of Antichrist Superstar with a newly remastered physical edition, now available to preorder through Waxwork Records.
The 1996 album remains one of the defining releases of industrial and alternative metal’s mainstream breakthrough. Its confrontational production, theatrical imagery and songs including “The Beautiful People,” “Tourniquet,” “The Reflecting God” and “Man That You Fear” made it a pivotal record in Manson’s catalog and a flashpoint in ’90s rock culture.
Waxwork’s anniversary package preserves all 16 tracks across two LPs and remasters the album specifically for vinyl. The records are pressed on “Midnight Blue” vinyl with an iridescent gold-and-green haze, housed in a heavyweight gatefold sleeve.
The set also includes a 28-page, 12-by-12-inch booklet featuring scans from personal notebooks, handwritten lyrics, sketches and previously unreleased photographs. A full-color insert and lyric sheet are included, while a separate brick-style cassette edition is also being offered.
The double-LP edition is listed at $42, with Waxwork currently estimating shipment in January 2027. That timing is a fulfillment window rather than a separate digital release date.
For longtime fans, the most consequential part of the announcement is the combination of a fresh vinyl master with archival material tied directly to the album’s creation. It gives the record’s 30th anniversary a substantive release instead of a simple color-variant repress.
Preorders and complete edition details are available from Waxwork Records. The anniversary campaign is also featured on Marilyn Manson’s official site.
