Half Me Release ‘Dogma,’ Their Second Album, With a Three-Song Video

Half Me’s second album, Dogma, is out October 23 through Arising Empire. The Hamburg metalcore band have paired the release with a combined video for “Through Prayer,” “Melancholia” and “Coup d’État,” offering a three-song introduction to the full record.

The album follows the band’s 2023 debut, Soma. Arising Empire previously confirmed Dogma’s release date, while an October 23 press announcement supplied to The Sound 228 confirms the album’s arrival and the new video.

Dogma centers on fear, manipulation and manufactured division. In the release announcement, the band frames those themes as questions about how people accept narratives and participate in systems around them. That concept runs through material including “Fear Is the New Belief,” “Built on Your Blood,” “Psalm” and “King.”

The campaign combines metalcore and metallic hardcore with industrial influences. Rather than serving as another isolated single, the three-song video gives listeners a connected entry point into the record before exploring the complete album.

The release also arrives during Half Me’s international Crusades touring campaign. The announced itinerary places the band in Australia through early November, followed by European and UK dates later in the year. Fans can use the official release link below for listening options and watch the combined video on YouTube.
