Get the Shot have released Crucifixion Depiction, a four-track EP out October 23 through Arising Empire. The Quebec hardcore band’s latest release brings together “Feed Me to the Pigs,” the title track, “Strain” and “Prying Eyes.”

The release follows the band’s 2022 album Merciless Destruction. Arising Empire announced the EP in September alongside its title track, and an October 23 press release supplied to The Sound 228 confirms the complete collection is now out.

The title track features fellow Canadian act Don’t Try. In the label’s announcement, the song is presented as a confrontation with loss and failure, placing a personal focus inside the band’s mix of hardcore and extreme-metal influences.

A visualizer for “Prying Eyes” accompanies the EP’s arrival. That gives listeners another route into the new material beyond the previously released songs, while the four-track format offers a concise introduction for anyone discovering the band.

Get the Shot’s announced European live dates begin October 29 in Villeurbanne, France. Listening links and the new visualizer are available below; fans ordering physical editions should check their retailer’s shipping details separately from the digital release date.
