Girish and the Chronicles Release ‘Fading Away’ Ahead of ‘Disintegrate’

Girish and the Chronicles have released “Fading Away,” the latest single from the Indian hard-rock band’s fourth studio album, Disintegrate, due November 20, 2026 through Frontiers Music Srl.

The new track leans into one of the record’s heaviest and most emotional moments. The band describes it as a song about feeling left behind and disconnected from the world, but its message ultimately reaches toward perseverance and reminds listeners facing that isolation that they are not alone.

That darker emotional weight reflects the direction of Disintegrate. Girish and the Chronicles say the album is heavier, groovier and darker than their earlier work, incorporating alternative elements while retaining the melodic hard-rock and classic-metal foundation that has defined the band.

The group features vocalist Girish Pradhan, bassist Yogesh Pradhan, guitarist Suraz Sun and drummer Nagen Nags. Their profile has expanded through international touring, festival appearances and a run on America’s Got Talent.

The release arrives ahead of another major milestone: Girish and the Chronicles are scheduled to support Guns N’ Roses in Bangalore on November 14, marking the third time the band has shared a bill with the rock icons.
