Five Finger Death Punch Donate $200,000 to USA Judo and BMX Programs
Five Finger Death Punch have turned their North American anniversary tour into a $200,000 boost for American athletes. Announced October 26, the donation supports USA Judo and USA Cycling’s BMX Racing and BMX Freestyle programs as athletes prepare for Los Angeles 2028.
The band presented the donation October 23 at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia, on the final night of the North American leg of its 20th Anniversary World Tour. A portion of every ticket sold contributed to the initiative, making fans part of the fundraising effort.
The causes reflect the musicians’ own sporting roots. Guitarist Zoltan Bathory described beginning judo at nine and continuing to compete, while singer Ivan Moody recalled his childhood love of BMX. Their statements framed the contribution as support for the years of training that happen before athletes reach the world stage.
The announcement closes this stretch of touring with a concrete contribution beyond the concert stage: funding for the judo and cycling programs and the athletes working toward their next Olympic opportunity.
