Christian French Performs At The Old National Centre
Updated: Oct 16, 2025
Photographer Jonathan Galeano of JGaleanoFilms was on the scene for Christian French at Old National Centre Saturday, September 6th. Formerly the Murat Centre, the venue’s Facebook page states that it is multi-purpose facility offering great versatility.
The following bio was taken directly from Christian French’s website.
"From small beginnings of John Mayer Soundcloud covers to milestones any artist dreams of, Christian French has been a continuous pop force since his 2016 debut. The Indiana native has always aimed to bring more with his music; self-expression, authenticity, and most importantly, continuous progress towards life’s silver-lining. French expresses hardships of anxiety, doubt and insecurity in a way that offers an optimistic twist, as shown in his EP’s 'bright side of the moon' and 'good things take time', while his more recent EP ;the space between' shows a deeper, darker perspective of the artist’s every day life while navigating the hardships and challenges that come with growing up.
Through French’s 1 billion streams across all platforms, the unwavering passion and culture from his fans can be seen through his multiple successful North American headline tours, including his 28-show The Space Between tour in 2023. Now, with Christian French making the choice to become an independent artist for the first time since 2018 and diving increasingly more into his own writing and production, fans will begin seeing facets of French that cut much deeper with new realizations, perspectives, and self-truths."

Great recap of the show! It’s awesome to see Jonathan Galeano’s photos capturing the energy at the Old National Centre. I’ve been following Christian French since his early SoundCloud days covering John Mayer, so seeing his growth into a major indie artist who has clocked over a billion streams is proper impressive. When reading concert write-ups like this, it makes me think about what are language features that best convey the raw, emotional connection between an artist and a live crowd. Moving into full independence seems like a massive step for him, but it’ll be exciting to hear how his sound evolves from here. Looking forward to more gigs!
Love seeing coverage of Christian French performing back at the Old National Centre in his home state of Indiana. It really highlights how far he has come since starting out with those John Mayer Soundcloud covers years ago. I was actually reading a fascinating case study on strategic decisions and trade-offs using Game Theory Assignment help from New Assignment Help Experts, and it makes you realise how bold a move it is for an artist with over a billion streams to step away from major labels and go completely independent. It takes real courage to choose creative control over traditional backing. Really looking forward to seeing how his sound evolves with this new chapter.
