Toto Announces 2027 European Tour for 50th Anniversary
Toto will mark five decades as a band with a major European tour in summer 2027, beginning June 16 at 3Arena in Dublin and continuing into August.
The band says more performances will be announced in the coming weeks. Todd Rundgren will appear as special guest on the Ireland and United Kingdom dates, pairing two influential names from classic rock for the anniversary run.
The first announced shows include Dublin on June 16, Cork on June 17, Glasgow on June 19, Manchester on June 20, Birmingham on June 22, Cardiff on June 24 and London’s OVO Arena Wembley on June 25.
Artist and promoter presales begin Tuesday or Wednesday depending on the venue, using the password DOGZOFOZ. General ticket sales begin Friday, October 23, at the applicable local time.
The anniversary traces back to January 7, 1977, when Toto’s founding lineup assembled at Davlen Studios in North Hollywood to begin recording demos for the band’s debut album. Their catalog later produced staples including “Hold the Line,” “Rosanna” and “Africa.”
Toto reports more than nine billion cumulative streams and over 50 million albums sold worldwide. “Africa” has passed two billion Spotify plays and earned diamond certification from the RIAA, while “Hold the Line” has exceeded one billion streams.
The current touring lineup is led by Steve Lukather and Joseph Williams alongside Warren Ham, John Pierce, Keith Carlock, Dennis Atlas and Rai Thistlethwayte. Lukather said Europe’s support has remained important throughout the band’s career and promised a show built around the group’s world-class musicianship.
The tour matters because Toto’s audience continues extending well beyond its original era. The band says more than half of its roughly one billion annual streams now come from listeners age 34 and younger, making the 50th anniversary both a career milestone and evidence of a catalog still reaching new generations.
