Rush postponed their Saturday, October 17 concert at SAP Center in San Jose after touring drummer Anika Nilles became too ill to perform. The band’s official announcement said the show has been rescheduled for Sunday, December 6, 2026.

Reports from San Jose said Nilles had been dealing with worsening flu-like symptoms. Rush did not announce any broader change to the tour, and the band’s official schedule now lists the December 6 replacement date at SAP Center.

Tickets purchased for the original October 17 concert will be honored on the new date. Fans who cannot attend the rescheduled show can seek refunds through their original point of purchase.

The postponement is a notable interruption in Rush’s Fifty Something reunion tour, the group’s first tour in 11 years and its first without late drummer Neil Peart. The current lineup centers on Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson with Nilles behind the kit.

Rush’s official itinerary still lists the tour’s next scheduled stops as October 21 in St. Louis and October 23 in Cincinnati. No additional postponements have been confirmed.
