Polyphia Release Fifth Album ‘Be Not Afraid’
Polyphia’s fifth studio album, Be Not Afraid, is out October 23 through Rise Records. The 12-track release brings the instrumental band’s latest chapter together after advance singles “Can You Feel It,” “Power in the Blood” and “With Eyes to See.”
The album arrives with the band continuing to combine intricate guitar playing with electronic production and dance-music influences. Its tracklist runs from opener “Let There Be Light” to closer “Fear God,” with “Screwtape,” “Mark of the Beast” and “Near Death” among the other titles.
The album announcement described a more collaborative writing process. During sessions in Miami, Los Angeles and Dallas in 2024 and 2025, the musicians worked together with co-producer RJ Pasin and guitarist Spiro Dussias. Tim Henson developed some guitar parts by singing melodies first, while Scott LePage described the sessions as a chance to create together in the same room.
For fans who followed the singles, release day is the opportunity to hear how those tracks fit into the complete record. The band’s announcement framed the album around contrasting uplifting and unsettling moods, connecting its musical range to its central themes.
Be Not Afraid is available through digital music services. Fans buying physical editions should check the delivery details for their chosen format: the band’s official store lists a February 2027 shipping window for the Iceberg vinyl edition.
