Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s final performances are heading home. Mercury Studios will release Back to the Beginning on December 11, 2026, with 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, CD, vinyl and digital options.

Announced October 28, the release captures the farewell at Birmingham’s Villa Park on July 5, 2025. Ozzy’s solo set and his reunion with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward give fans a permanent record of a landmark heavy-metal goodbye.

Preorders are open now, alongside the live “Mr. Crowley” track and video. The nine-song digital soundtrack moves from Ozzy favorites including “Crazy Train” to Sabbath staples “War Pigs,” “Iron Man” and “Paranoid.”

Physical film packages include the full Ozzy and Sabbath sets, behind-the-scenes material, video tributes and the Sounds of Birmingham documentary. Vinyl buyers can choose among several editions.

A larger deluxe box arrives April 23, 2027. It adds a bonus Blu-ray featuring 35 Ozzy and Sabbath songs and guest covers, expanded audio, a 72-page book and collectibles. That later release date matters for fans deciding which edition to order.
