Deftones and The Strokes Lead Kilby Block Party’s 2027 Lineup
Deftones are bringing their heavy sound to Kilby Block Party in 2027. The Salt Lake City festival announced its initial lineup October 28, with Deftones, The Strokes and Jungle leading the three-day event at Utah State Fairpark on May 14–16.
The official poster places Deftones and Fontaines D.C. atop Friday’s bill, The Strokes and Slayyyter on Saturday, and Jungle and Lil Yachty on Sunday. More artists remain to be announced, with several slots still represented by question marks.
For rock fans, the announcement reaches well beyond the headliners. IDLES, Spoon, Silversun Pickups, Kim Gordon, Wednesday, Joyce Manor and Wolf Parade are among the confirmed acts. Two Door Cinema Club are billed to perform Tourist History, while Whitney will present a Light Upon the Lake anniversary set.
That mix makes Deftones’ appearance a notable heavy-music anchor for a festival rooted in indie and alternative rock. Fans can find the announced artists on the festival’s official lineup page; the poster does not provide individual set times.

Kilby Block Party began in 2019 as a celebration of Salt Lake City’s all-ages Kilby Court venue. The 2027 event will be its eighth edition.
