Eminem Confirmed for Kid Rock’s “7 Sins” on Upcoming Halfway 2 Jesus Album

Kid Rock’s next album now includes a reunion with one of hip-hop’s biggest names.
Eminem will appear on “7 Sins,” a track from Kid Rock’s upcoming faith-centered project, Halfway 2 Jesus. Complex confirmed the collaboration directly with a representative for Eminem on October 2, 2026.
The feature follows Kid Rock’s October 1 unveiling of the album’s artwork and tracklist. “7 Sins” is listed third on the 17-song project, which also includes the newly released “James 1:17 (Jesus Is King).”
For listeners who remember Kid Rock’s rap-rock breakthrough, the pairing has history. Eminem previously appeared on “Fuck Off” from 1998’s Devil Without a Cause. Kid Rock later made an appearance in Eminem’s 2013 “Berzerk” video.
This time, Kid Rock says the collaboration carries a message about maintaining friendships despite disagreements.
In an excerpt from the album’s foreword reported by ThePRP, he explains that he and Eminem have remained friends despite differences in politics and other beliefs. He hopes their relationship encourages people to reconsider cutting off friends or family members over those differences.
The collaboration adds a substantial hip-hop connection to a project already marking a change in Kid Rock’s songwriting focus. Other announced guests include Rascal Flatts vocalist Gary LeVox and Jimmie Allen on the album’s title track.
“7 Sins” is confirmed for the album, but it has not been verified as available to stream. Fans can currently hear “James 1:17 (Jesus Is King)” through Kid Rock’s official website.
Release-date reporting remains inconsistent: Kid Rock’s website displays October 17, while ThePRP describes that date as tentative. Until a clearer official release announcement appears, October 17 should be treated as the expected date.
For The Sound 228 listeners, Kid Rock’s new direction now includes a confirmed reunion with Eminem—and a connection back to the rap-rock era that helped establish both artists.
