Burn Eternal Sign to Metal Blade as Howard Jones and Adam D. Prepare Debut
Burn Eternal, the project pairing former Killswitch Engage vocalist Howard Jones with Killswitch guitarist and producer Adam Dutkiewicz, have signed with Metal Blade Records. The October 21 announcement brings a concrete next step for the long-awaited collaboration, with new music promised soon.
Jones says the idea began over lunch in London and has developed into a completed debut album. Neither an album title nor a release date was included in the announcement, and the first song has yet to be unveiled.
For metalcore listeners, the reunion carries considerable history. Jones and Dutkiewicz worked together during Killswitch Engage’s 2002–2012 era, including The End of Heartache and As Daylight Dies. Burn Eternal gives that creative partnership a separate outlet.
In the announcement supplied by Atom Splitter PR, both musicians emphasized the enjoyment of reconnecting in the studio. Metal Blade founder Brian Slagel also welcomed the project and said he has heard the record.
The signing is the news here: fans now have a label attached to the finished album, while the music and release timetable remain to be revealed. Follow Burn Eternal’s official channels for the first track and further details.
