Rose Tattoo frontman Gary “Angry” Anderson has died at 79. His family and band announced the news today, September 23, confirming that he died September 21 surrounded by loved ones in Australia.

Anderson had suffered cardiac arrest during Rose Tattoo’s European farewell tour in August.
