Obituary Announce Back-to-Back Tampa Shows Celebrating Two Album Reissues
Obituary will return to the Brass Mug in Tampa for two shows on November 21 and 22, celebrating the re-releases of Xecutioner’s Return and Darkest Day. The Florida death metal veterans announced the back-to-back dates on their official website, with tickets available through the venue’s Ticketbud listing.
Saturday, November 21 is billed as Tampa’s Evil Ways Celebration. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the announced supporting lineup includes Intoxicated, Must Not Kill, Three Knuckles Deep and Fatal.
Sunday, November 22 is billed as Florida’s Darkest Day Matinee, with doors at 4 p.m. Mind Virus, Skull Crunch, Consume the Wolf and Scorch are listed as support. All door times are local to Tampa.
The two-night booking gives fans a chance to revisit the band’s late-2000s era in its home region while catching a different supporting bill each day. Xecutioner’s Return originally arrived in 2007, followed by Darkest Day in 2009. The band is promoting remastered reissues of both records through Relapse.
