Lita Ford Releases ‘Dracula’ Single and Video Ahead of Halloween
Lita Ford’s “Dracula” is out now. Released October 27 through Frontiers Music Srl, the new single arrives with a music video and gives fans their first full listen following last week’s announcement of her label signing.
Gary Hoey produced the track, with Max Norman handling the mix. Ford and Hoey perform on the recording alongside drummer Bobby Rock, bringing an experienced hard-rock team to the Halloween-week release.
Ford describes the song’s central figure as an embodiment of seduction and control: an alluring presence that ultimately drains a person’s life. She also frames the track as a playful fantasy about flirting with danger, with slide-guitar textures contributing to its threatening atmosphere.
The release turns the previously announced “Dracula” rollout into something listeners can hear and watch now. It also previews Ford’s next creative chapter in 2027, although this single announcement does not supply a title or exact release date for the larger project.
Ford has two Halloween-weekend performances scheduled: October 30 at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and October 31 at Agua Caliente Resort Casino in Rancho Mirage, California.
From her start as lead guitarist in the Runaways to the solo hits “Kiss Me Deadly” and “Close My Eyes Forever,” Ford has maintained a distinctive place in hard rock. “Dracula” puts the focus on a new recording as she begins her Frontiers era.
